In this series viewers are invited to spend some time with eight exceptional people from all over Ireland, all of whom have a story to tell. These include the inspirational story of a young Irish jockey who, following a horrific accident, has fought his way back to the racing world; a family that straddles both the hearing and deaf worlds; a keen photographer and cyclist who has also been diagnosed with Schizophrenia; and a young woman who has striven all her life not to be defined by her medical condition of Cystic Fibrosis.
